there seems to be some misunderstanding as to what sports teams i like and don't like. therefore, for the benefit of all of you, here is jon's sports team preference hierarchy:

baseball
1. yankees
2. any team that plays against the red sox
3. any team that plays against barry bonds
4. any team that plays against the braves
5. mets/phillies/astros (tie)

football
1. redskins
2. any team that plays against the eagles/cowboys/giants (depending on who is better)
3. any team that plays against the raiders/ravens/colts/vikings/49ers
4. patriots/titans/jets

hockey
1. whalers, DANG! (shush, i know they don't exist anymore)
2. devils
3. anyone that plays the rangers/flyers
4. anyone that plays the bruins/red wings/avalanche/stars
5. blues/islanders/senators/flames/hurricanes

basketball
1. sixers
2. anyone that plays against kobe
3. i hate the nba

college football
1. BORING

college basketball
1. st. joe's
2. any team that is not named uconn or duke

i definitely think the winter classic is better during the afternoon.
whalers? yeah. still not back in hartford.
i don't believe in new year's resolutions. i just believe in doing shit because you want to.
